I loved how they generously provided towels in the holiday home, because who wants to bring their own? It saved me the trouble of packing extra stuff.
Oh, and let's not forget about that charming little detail of what I didn't like. Oh wait, there wasn't anything!

The location of the cottage is ideal for nature lovers and walkers, with beautiful countryside and the Forest of Bowland nearby. The cottage itself is cozy and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a decent-sized TV. The surrounding community is friendly and welcoming, creating a close-knit atmosphere. Plus, the nearby pubs offer delicious food, such as the chicken and ham hock pie at The Bay Horse.
The water pressure in the upstairs taps is affected by the location at the top of a hill, but the stunning views from the garden make up for it.

This cottage is an absolute gem! It's perfect for couples or singles with dogs. The photos seriously don't do it justice - it's even more stunning in person. The cottage is beautifully designed and I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. It's so refreshing to find a dog-friendly place without a long list of rules. The neighboring cottages are filled with friendly and welcoming people, creating a close-knit community feel. The location is incredible - to the right, you have the charming village of Barley and the majestic Pendle Hill, while a short walk to the left takes you to the enchanting witch country of Roughlee. And let's not forget the decent-sized TV! It's surprising how many places skimp on this, but not here.

The highlight of our stay at this charming countryside cottage was the proximity to Chetham's Library. It felt like stepping into a novel as we wandered through the historic shelves, lost in a world of words and imagination.
Low beam and no warning sign while going up the stairs.

I stayed at this lovely cottage for a short break with my partner and our dog. The cottage is perfect for couples or singles traveling with pets. The photos don't do it justice - it's even prettier and well thought out in person. The owners are dog-friendly, with no long lists of rules upon arrival. The neighboring cottages create a close-knit community, and the location is fantastic. To the right is the charming village of Barley and Pendle Hill, while a short walk to the left takes you to Roughlee witch country. I also appreciate the decent-sized TV, as many properties skimp on this.
I highly recommend this hotel.
